Retrofit Face Mix Filler Box with Planing Roller and Pneumatic Scraper

Product Description

Wear plates made of PA 6.6 prevent the box from twisting during production.

The height of the filling box can be adjusted by means of the adjusting screw at all four support points. In addition, the contact pressure of the filling box on the support brackets can be adjusted with pressure springs.

Tension springs are used to lift the scraper plate, which should guarantee a long and reliable service life.

Due to the skid shape, the material is not transported out of the mould, but is guided back into the mould.

To be able to change the filling carriages reliably, the connection between the swing arm and the filling carriage has been designed so that it can be dismantled.

The planing roller including the side holder can be dismantled. This means that bearings can be replaced in a separate environment.

In addition, the drive of the planing roller has been relocated and attached directly to the filling box.

The rotating brush (optional - VN000021) is electrically driven.

 

Your Benefits

In paving stone production, the planing roller offers several advantages compared to production with a conventional scraper frame:

  • especially with very moist concrete and/or large-format pavers, no face concrete is "excavated" during the return journey from the filling truck.
  • Production possible with considerably wetter face concrete mixes, improved colour intensity, a much more closed product surface and consequently a better bond between the core and face concrete
  • Shorter cycle times and higher quality, especially for large-format paving and slab products, as uniform filling is possible without repeated oscillating movements of the filling carriage. Reliable cleaning of heavily textured charge plates when equipped with rotating charge brush (optional - VN000021)
  • Adjustable filling plate can be moved, which is particularly advantageous for small production depths. To prevent additional loss of material, a scraper bar is fitted to the rear wall. The filling carriage frame cannot be damaged by wear of the swing arm bearing, as the connection between the swing arm and the filling carriage can be dismantled
  • The repositioning of the drive of the planing roller has the effect that the chain of the planing roller is no longer unloaded when the table plate is lifted and can thus reach the dirt area of the table plate
  • High product quality, improved ease of maintenance

Product Description

The pneumatically controlled scraper presses against the front side of the coarse mix filler box during the return travel. Below type cylinders are used to lower and lift the scraper (depending on the direction of travel) Thanks to the adjustable contact pressure, the mold can be scraped much more effectively than with a conventional scraper. Selective overfilling of the mold area can also be configured.

Retrofitting of an electrically or hydraulically driven, rotating charging brush to the existing face concrete filler box (without replacing the filler box frame).

The rotating brush concept allows for quick disassembly. This means that you can use both the rotating brush and the straight brush. This option is necessary to be able to react to different products and thus to different shapes.

 

Your Benefits

The rotating loading brush results in considerably improved cleaning of the ram plates, which reduces the tendency to stick when processing difficult facing concretes. If necessary, a second brush position is maintained in the software.

The gear motor version has the following advantages in comparison with the hydraulic motor:

On the one hand, there is no need to install hydraulics on the filling carriage. In addition, valves and the associated piping are saved. On the other hand, there is no longer the danger of dripping hydraulic oil getting onto the products and thus producing rejects.

By changing the drive position in the rear area of the filling carriage, contamination of the drive is also prevented.
