Presented by SR SCHINDLER at this year’s bauma trade show in Munich, the new press of the type UNI 1200 will replace a 1,200 tons press after only three years of use in the FCN factory in Wandersleben.
With this decision, the long-established company FCN with its headquarter in Fulda in the Federal State of Hessen and 9 other sites in Germany once again relies on our longtime experience in the manufacture and finishing of sophisticated concrete products and on our reliable service quality.
The crucial factor for the purchase of the new SR SCHINDLER hermetic press was its very short cycle times and primarily its dosing and repeat accuracy allowing for efficient manufacture of demanding concrete slabs. But also the possibility of manufacturing very thin one- and two-layer slabs, which is a challenge in terms of dimensional accuracy and surface properties, made FCN go for the UNI 1200 press.
The new press is equipped with 7 work stations. With its maximum press force of 12,000 kN (1,200 t), it allows for the production of precisely manufactured concrete slabs with a maximum size of 1000 mm x 1000 mm.
SR-Schindler will install the new high-performance press, which is also available with a press power of 14,000 kN (1,400 t), with its own assembly and service personnel; commissioning is scheduled for spring of 2020.
