The implementation of Siemens TIA and PROFINET ensures a future-proof and robust control system. The updated systems allow for more precise and userfriendly adjustments of production parameters. The new safety concept uses cutting edge technology and provides better protection for plant personnel.
Additionally, enhanced diagnostic functions minimize downtime, simplify repairs, and increase system availability. The new HESS statistics function provides a detailed assessment of the
production data. A high supply of spare parts for the new components ensures minimal downtime and allows for quick repairs in case of a malfunction. The new control system allows for a thorough analysis of operating data through the updated HESS statistics function, which records and stores all relevant production data, including production quantities and downtimes, in a Microsoft SQL database.
Furthermore, the new process visualization allows for user-friendly operation and parameter adjustment, enabling changes to operating data in automatic mode without needing to stop the facility.

Scope of delivery
- Pre-wired control cabinet =MAS+UML for controlling the components on the dry side, for instance, lowerator, production transportation, cuber, pallet destacker, and product evacuation.
- New brake resistors for the drives.
- New process visualization including the new HESS statistics and backup PC.
- New on-site operating elements (variable number of operating elements depending on system layout)
- Electrical safety devices, such as personnel light barriers, muting systems and login/acknowledgment buttons.
- The conversion of LENZE drive systems for the cuber to SEW drive systems, however, this must be verified for each specific system.
- Electrical installation materials, such as for the renewal of wiring, replacement of all ASi modules, and terminal boxes for drives.
- Project management.
- Configuration of the circuit diagrams, safety layouts, safety sensor technology and control system, including PLC program preparation
