When profiling, a rotating scratch drum with hardened tips or pins specifically removes material along a defined path, creating linear grooves and microstructures – the structure that is visible and noticeable on your product at the end. The roller rotates at an adjustable speed and is fed across the surface with controlled feed; the depth and spacing of the grooves can be adjusted precisely.
The unit is designed as a tunnel and is designed to be retrofitted to existing conveyor belt systems – without any new conveyor technology.
Profiling is currently undergoing practical testing. Contact us at our exhibition stand, we will present our results.
